Why information is collected
Information submitted through the project enquiry form is collected so Marci Homes can assess the proposed project, contact the person making the enquiry, manage follow-up and maintain an appropriate business record.
What is collected
The form may collect a name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, project location, project type and stage, indicative budget, intended timing, project description, referral source and optional marketing preference. Technical information needed to protect the service from abuse may also be processed.
How information is used and disclosed
Information is used to assess and respond to the enquiry, communicate about the proposed project, maintain business records, protect the website from abuse and, where separately agreed, send occasional project updates. It is not sold. Information may be disclosed to professional advisers, contractors or service providers where reasonably required to operate the website, manage the enquiry or comply with law.
Service providers and overseas processing
The website currently uses Vercel for hosting and serverless processing, Neon for database storage, Cloudflare for DNS and optional bot protection, Titan for business email and Resend for transactional email delivery. HubSpot may be used as the customer relationship system when that integration is enabled. Although the application and database are configured in Australia where available, these providers or their subprocessors may also process account, security, email or support data outside Australia, including in the United States and Japan.
Marketing communications
Project updates are optional and require the separate marketing checkbox. Declining marketing does not prevent a person from submitting an enquiry. A person may withdraw marketing consent using the unsubscribe method included in those communications.
Storage, retention and security
Enquiries are stored in controlled systems with access limited to authorised people and service providers. Website database records that have been successfully transferred into the customer-management workflow are intended to be removed after approximately 60 days. Records that have not transferred successfully are retained until the failure is resolved. Customer, correspondence and contractual records may be retained for longer where reasonably required for sales activity, project delivery, dispute management or legal obligations. Marci Homes uses technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction and complaints
To request access to or correction of personal information, or to make a privacy complaint, email privacy@marcihomes.com.au, call 0450 650 013, or write to MARCI HOMES PTY LTD, 4004/483 Swanston Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. Marci Homes will acknowledge the request and respond within a reasonable period. If a complaint is not resolved, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Website measurement and security
No advertising cookies are currently used. Technical request data may be processed to deliver the website, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare will process technical signals needed to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. Form contents and project descriptions are not intentionally sent to analytics platforms.
